Marie is an adorable cuddlebug who was rescued from a truly awful hoarding case where the floors were aboslutely covered in feces. She survived a truly disgusting life as a young kitten before being freed and brought to the rescue. Marie has let nothing stop her constant "little miss sunshine" attitude. She is always purring and will not let you sit down without coming to snuggle and take all your time away in the best day.
She is currently available for fostering to adopt. If fostering to adopt please fill out both forms.

Aggie is coming around so nicely after being rescued from a hoarding situation. She loves napping by the windowsill and soaking up all the sunshine. She would love a kind and caring home as she learns to trust people. She is currently available for fostering or 'foster to adopt'. If adoption is your ultimate goal, please fill out both our foster application AND our adoption application.

Shrimp came to the rescue in conjunction with a heroic effort by Onalaska Farm Sanctuary to move kittens from a horrible hoarding house to rescues and good homes.
Shrimp came into the rescue with a new gusto for life. He gives everyone he sees "hugs" and loves to be held and pet all the time. We don't think he has stopped purring the entire time he has been at the rescue.
Shrimp was named for his fabulous shrimp like whiskers and incredible orange saucer eyes. Whoever adopts him is signing up for a life time of love and happiness. He is a huge boy with giant fluffy feet.
Shrimp is currently still on eye drops clearing up his mild URI.

In spring 2024, we received a very emaciated mom with six nursing kittens, who had been living in a camp of houseless individuals in Salem. It was touch and go for a while -- she was SO, SO skinny. But, she did a great job mothering her babies and has somehow turned into the chonkiest kitty at the rescue :)
With the utmost love and admiration, she is now known as Fat Aurora.
Her favorite movie: Pitch Perfect
Favorite snack: Anything considered forbidden
Favorite pasttime: napping
Fat Aurora loves life and thinks very highly of herself. She never misses a meal, or a chance to soak up the sunshine. She is, however, concerned about her cardiovascular health after she overheard someone saying she was a little too chonky. So, she ordered an apple watch to start tracking her steps. She is, however, having a hard time finding the motivation to get started. Her perfect human will spoil her with healthy treats and LOTS of playtime, to help her get back in tip top shape. She'd also like to request a kitty treadmill, a chef and a a personal trainer in her new home. Aurora does well with other female kitties, but is not too crazy about the males at the rescue. We love you, Fat Aurora!!!

Sweet Boozles was rescued as a stray on the streets of Portland in October of 2023. His rough start to life hasn't phased him at all though. This boy is happy and if we could only say one thing about him it would be that Boozles LOVES love. He loves it so much that he will follow you wherever you go. He is fascinated with the bathroom - watching his human wash and brush and apply 'product' is his absolute favorite -- he will curl up nearby and provide you with all the latest hair and makeup tips. (You didn't hear this from us, but he loves to be with his humans so much that he will gladly sit and snuggle you anywhere, even if that spot is on the potty!)
Boozey is the sweetest, softest floof. Photos don't do him justice. His fur is super thick and VERY soft, but it's so hard to get photos of him because as soon we make eye contact, he comes toward us and we end up with blurry photos. We love that he's impossible to photograph, and we love that he's a snuggle bug. What we would love most though, is for him to be adopted into his very own home, with his very own humans. He would also love a feline friend or two. He shares like a good boy and is not territorial.
Could he be your purrfect soul mate??
Male, fixed. More info coming soon. (He's a lover)
DO I LOOK DEMURE? I've been practicing poses for my glamour shot, and my sanctuary mom said this one was definitely the winner. She said the fact that I'm not looking at the camera makes me seem mysterious. She also said the way my tail curls up shows that I am friendly, and that the humans will love that my pink toe beans are peaking out from my back paw. She said no human can resist pink toe beans. Do you think she's right? I hope so, because I've been waiting for my forever family to find me for, well, forever. And, not to complain, but I'm very tired of waiting. My sanctuary mom said not to give up hope. That my perfect people will find me here before I know it, and I hope that's true. It would be even better if they adopted one of my friends, so that I could have another kitty to snuggle, or if they already have a kitty for me to snuggle, that would be fine, too. I just like to be cozy, and have a friend to cuddle. Cuddling is my favorite. Can I come home with you for a cuddle?
Spayed female - more info coming soon
Poppy's favorite thing in the world is wedge herself into a teeny tiny space, in a South facing window, and take a loooong afternoon nap. The only thing that would be better than that is for her to be able to do that in her own home, with her own human(s). This sweet girl is used to being around other kitties and bunnies, and would do best in a home where she would have other animals to keep her company. She's a little shy around humans when she first meets them, but warms up quickly and is ready to be your forever cuddle bug.
Female, more info coming soon about this petite black beauty!
