Adoptable Males
Adoptable Males
Upon arrival at Avalon, all bunnies receive veterinary evaluation and care, including flea and mite treatment as needed. Bunnies are vaccinated for RHDV2, and are spayed/neutered before being adopted. For those that are not fixed prior to adoption (this can happen when a baby is adopted before being old enough for surgery), we work with adoptive families to make that happen ASAP, using our vet or theirs. Until the bunnies are fixed, we consider them as a "foster to adopt" status. Spaying and neutering bunnies is incredibly important for their overall health and general wellbeing.

Professor Tottley wishes to announce that he is currently available for adoption!
The professor was rescued from a household that was keeping him outdoors, but he kept escaping the poor conditions in which he was trapped, to pursue the his academic endeavors at Pacific University in Forest Grove. After having escaped numerous times, his previous humans agreed to surrender him to the rescue.
We are so glad he's out of his former living situation and now resides in a manner more suited to his station in society - indoors, surrounded by good books and lots of attention from his foster mom.
Professor Tottley is a bun of discernment. He will require a personal styllist to maintain his exquisite coat. He also insists upon monthly mani-pedis, daily snacks of organic greens, a library featuring the classics, and a smart speaker playing classical piano or nature sounds.
He has commissioned a special photo shoot to show off his gloriousness, and would like to note that he prefers to be likened to Benjamin Franklin, although he reluctantly admits he bears somewhat of a resemblance to Albert Einstein on his bad hair days.
Professor Tottley has a mild temperament and would love to be bonded with a spayed female (He plans to focus on his academic career instead of fatherhood.)
Favorite things: vintage satin smoking jackets, the smell of old books, intelligent conversation, lots of pets and fresh cilantro.
Dislikes: not being the center of your universe, dreadlocks, poor grammar, cabbage

Flip is a head tilt rabbit who was found walking in circles after being dumped in a local Portland park. Luckily, a kind family found him and helped him. Flip is awaiting his neuter pending his head tilt issues, but it is likely permanent. He can walk around and balance well. Trauma or previous infection could have caused this, because he is negative for E. cuniculi, which commonly causes head tilt in rabbits.
Flip loves to be pet and kisses on his cheeks. He grinds his teeth with content whenever he gets loved on. He loves treats and pellets more than life. Flip is the perfect addition to a quirky home who loves the underdog.

Huckabee was recently dumped in a park in Clackamas with another female rabbit. You can tell he has lived a life where humans caged him/ did not give him love. He is tentative but excited for love and exploration in this new chapter of life at Avalon. Huckabee loves fresh dandelions as a treat.

Little Bebe boy was brought into our rescue in May 2024 when his brave rescue momma popped him and NINE other babies out!
Now he is his mommas little shadow. He follows her everywhere. He is extremely sweet and social. He is always giving kisses with those adorable white tipped curly ears.
Bebe would do best in an active home where he can stay with his mom (See "Harriet" under adoptable females) or another bunny friend.

Mr. Perkins is a sweet blind bunny who was dumped in the forest in Lake Oswego, Oregon. After internet sleuths found a posted craiglist add of the same rabbit in the same area of the dumping, it was clear the person trying to rehome him had given up and left him to fend for himself in the woods. As a blind bunny, he would have not survived long. Luckily a kind woman stumbled upon him quickly, and brought him to our rescue for safe housing. Mr. Perkins is a sweet boy who does a great job with his litter box. Since he is blind, he requires a safe, low level area and would do best with a family that is ok with a bunny who doesn't like being held, as it stresses him out a lot.

Sweet Cedar was captured by a long term Avalon adopter and foster after being dumped outside in her neighborhood. He is a wonderful, happy baby boy. Cedar is super clean and loves his leopard print flop bed. He enjoys to lounge and eat snacks for most of the day, as well as say hello to all the Avalon cats. He is a great social addition to an active family.

Guppy was brought into our rescue in May 2024 when his brave rescue momma popped him and NINE other babies out!
Guppy is on the shy side with sass for days. He is so funny ( and a little funny looking :o) Guppy has these adorable big eyes and a tiny face that just remind us of a cute little fish.
He has lots of energy and would do well in an active home.

Momo was found living outside in northern Washington (probably after being dumped), and was brought to a wonderful foster family in WA state. Momo has blossomed since being inside. He is so sweet and LOVES to be pet. He is so interested in other bunnies and would make a great addition to a pair of buns, or as a husbun to a lucky lady once he is neutered :)

Davey is a bunny who was rescued in early 2023 when he was dumped outside in the cold with 22 other bunnies. Avalon rushed to help ALL of these bunnies, which was no easy task. Snow and ice blanketed the area that they were dumped the very next day.
We don't know a lot about where Davey came from, but we do know it was probably a yucky backyard breeding situation. He has grown a lot since then, but still carriers anxiety around certain subjects.
Davey needs a calm, loving household to take him under his wing. Being the only bun for now, would be best for him (meaning not being adopted to be bonded)
Davey is super intelligent, sweet, and silly. He sits in a windowsill at his fosters house and watches the cars go by.
Linky Moo
MEDICAL FOSTER NEEDED
Male

Mr. Linky Moo came to Avalon in January 2024, with a badly injured hind leg. Veterinary treatments to help straighten his leg have not yet worked, but for now Linky is pain free and able to move around pretty well (Bunnies are amazing!). To give him the best life, we are seeking a foster in the Portland Metro with experience caring for ill or injured animals. (His vet is on the west side of town).
Linky Moo is ready to give you ALL the love. He has excellent potty habits, and always greets us on his hind legs, with his smooshy little face poking through his cage bars. You want to love on him, right???
All vet costs covered by the rescue.

Sycamore is one of momma Sequoias saplings from her rescue litter!
We just have to say that Sweet Sycamore is STUNNING! His beautiful grey-blue eyes are enhanced by his gorgeous fur -- not quite black, but not really brown, and tipped with just a tiny touch of white. You need to see this beautiful boy in person to truly appreciate his magnificence!

Alder is one of momma Sequoias saplings from her rescue litter!
He told us he feels like he's the cutest one of the litter. If you don't agree with that, please keep it to yourself. We love that he thinks so highly of himself and we do, too!!
